At Sodexo, we are taking steps to ensure our apprentices are supported with all the relevant guidance and information that they may need as we rise out of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
Make sure to keep up to date with any changes to apprenticeships by checking this page.
Should you need any additonal support, feel free to contact the central apprenticeship team via Apprenticeships.UK@sodexo.com.
As an employer, Sodexo contributes to an apprenticeship levy fund that employees can access.*
Apprenticeships are for anyone over the age of 16.* If you have a degree or any other qualifications, you can still upskill through an apprenticeship programme, as long it fulfils a skills gap in your next role. In fact, there are higher level programmes available, which are the equivalent to a degree, so take advantage!
*There may be differences in funding and accessibility for Scotland, Wales and Ireland

At Sodexo, we don’t have a set idea about what engineers look like. We believe anyone can be a great engineer. If you have ever thought, “How does that work?” or “I could fix that!”, then maybe you are an engineer in the making.
In 2020, we launched our first ever technical apprenticeship programme to attract new engineering talent and develop a pool of skilled engineers and future managers.

Futures is an 18 month fully supported development programme ran by Sodexo Corporate Services in conjunction with HIT Training, one of Sodexo's approved apprenticeship providers.*
The Futures programme is a structured and specific apprenticeship journey within Corporate Services, offering opportunity to gain an Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) qualification, all whilst being employed in a permanent role and opening career progression for the next generation of leaders.
The programme is ran by Sodexo Corporate Services for roles specifically within the segment, however anyone identified outside of the segment can still particpate in Futures to become a future leader of Sodexo.

Vocational learning covers courses you can do while at work. It’s based on either a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ), Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) or Skills for Life Qualification.
NVQs and SVQs assess you against national standards and they come in different levels - most commonly Levels 2 and 3. The level you can study for is based on your current level of responsibility and job role, not any previous qualifications you might have. You can also complete these courses and other qualifications as part of an apprenticeship - see the information above!
