Q. What was your first job?

A. I was 16, straight from school, and it was working in an Irish café.

Q. Tell us a bit about your Sodexo role.

A.  As retail supervisor I’m in charge of the running of all seven retail outlets on site, overseeing 79 staff and making sure each day goes smoothly.

Q. What does that involve?

A.  Front of house it means managing the rotas and moving staff about if anyone’s sick, motivating my teams and making sure all our customers get excellent customer service. I also do the cash run and make sure every team has a float, then collect the takings at the end of the day.

Charmaine Kennedy, retail supervisorQ. And behind the scenes?

A. I manage the wages, handle the stocktakes and investigate any stock anomalies.

A. Every day is different.

Q. What would you change, if you could?

A. Nothing, honestly!

Q. Your greatest achievement at work so far?

A. Taking part in the Sodexo Barrista of the Year competition and making it to the finals at Ascot Racecourse last year.

Q. What skill would you most like to have?

A. Bionic hearing!

Q. Tell us one thing about yourself that people would be surprised to learn.

A. I won a holiday in a singing competition.

Q. What’s on your desk?

A. Caramel latte from Costa of course.

Q. What would be your perfect day off?

A. Sitting on the sofa watching films with a tub of ice cream.

A. Miguel; Chris Brown; Omarian

Q. What can’t you live without?

A. My two girls.

Q. Name your fantasy celebrity dinner guest.

A.  Comedian Lee Evans.

Q. Favourite quote/motto?

A. ‘Dance like no one is watching, sing as if no one is listening and live each day like it’s your last.’
