Q. What was your first job?

A. As an office junior at an insurance brokers.

Q. What’s your typical day like?

A. I’m a receptionist so day-to-day I answer calls, greet visitors and ensure they’re signed in and out. I’m on hand to book taxis and generally look after our clients and answer all visitor queries.

Q. What part do you enjoy the most?

A. That you get the chance to build an ongoing rapport with the regular visitors.

Lynn Jux, receptionistQ. What would you change, if you could?

A. It would be good to have more flexible working hours to accommodate family and working life.

Q. Tell us about your greatest achievement at work.

A. When I was given an On the Spot award for stepping up to look after reception when my supervisor was off work for six weeks with a broken hand.

Q. If you could work/live in any country in the world, where would you choose?

A. Australia.

Q. Tell us one thing about yourself that people would be surprised to learn.

A. I used to be a long distance runner!

Q. What would be your perfect day off?

A. Spending time with my children – one’s five and one is two-and-a-half.

Q. What did you want to be as a child?

A. An air hostess.

Q. Name your fantasy celebrity dinner guest.

A. Martin Shaw. Why? Because he’s tasty, especially as Judge John Deed! No, I just get the impression he would be very charming and have good dinner conversation.

Q. Facebook or Twitter?

A. Neither. I like the phone, which is handy as a receptionist.
