Sean pledges to volunteer

Did you know that 8.4 million people in the UK are struggling to afford to eat? And yet at least 270,000 tonnes of surplus food from the UK food and drink industry could be redistributed to feed people each year?

This is why we’ve partnered with Trussell Trust and FareShare to offer 500 volunteering opportunities across the UK throughout this summer. You can help support their vital work and help to feed people who need it.

Sign up today and help make a difference.

There locations all over the UK from London to Glasgow, Cardiff to the Wirral and Bristol to Cumbria.

What you need to do

Our policy

Sodexo’s volunteering policy allows you to spend up to three days per year volunteering for charities that aim to tackle hunger and malnutrition, subject to line manager’s approval.

Why do it?

Volunteering is a great way to connect with your local community and Sodexo is keen to support you, and make volunteering easy. It offers a great personal and professional development opportunity and supports team building and skills development. It’s also a good boost for the morale and can have a positive impact on physical and mental health and work-life balance.

Once you’ve made your pledge, tell us about it!

Tweet your pledge photo to @STOPHunger_UK using the hashtag #mystophungerpledge
