Everyone loves the feeling you get when a colleague or manager tells you “well done”, “great job”, “we couldn’t have done it without you”. It’s what makes your working day a little brighter and what helps to make Sodexo a great place to work.

Now there’s a new way for us all to share this feel good factor. Recognising You, celebrates everything that is great about our people and brings together all the main ways to say ‘thanks’ to a colleague. You simply log on, create your profile and you’re set up to send – and receive – messages of thanks and recognition nominations.

So whether it’s giving a thumbs up to a team member for great safety practice, saying a personal thanks to a colleague who’s helped you out or celebrating someone’s work anniversary, this is the place to do it.

Recognising You is available online via the Reward Hub and is for all Sodexo employees in the UK to use, not just managers. Every success shared could be featured in the Hall of Fame. Managers can award reward points which can be which can be saved up and exchanged for high street vouchers.

To celebrate the launch of Recognising You there are five £50 voucher prizes up for grabs when you log on*.

Getting started: Log on to the Reward Hub (directly or via Your_Sodexo) and select the Recognising You tile on the homepage. Simply set up your profile and upload a picture and you’re ready to recognise!

Saying ‘great job’: to recognise a colleague, click the ‘thank you’ tab on the navigation bar. Type in their name (or select thank a group if it’s more than one person) and fill in the thank you form, telling us which category you’d like to recognise a colleague for and a bit of detail about why they’re such a star.

Cards and rewards: employees can send ecards to each other alongside their thank you messages and managers can also make monetary donations in the form of reward points, which can be converted into high street vouchers. There is a reward catalogue online for you to choose which vouchers you’d like.

* Five winners will be drawn at random one week after the launch.

Recognising You will be available to our colleagues in Ireland after the UK launch.
