Sodexo Ireland is one of the sponsors of the ‘What’s She Doing Here - Women at Work 1918-2018’ Exhibition, running from 31 March to 10 June 2018 at the Little Museum of Dublin, one of the capital’s top-rated attractions.

The exhibition, which has received extensive national media coverage, celebrates trailblazing Irish women over the past hundred years in the workplace, trades, professions and professional sporting arena.

It includes stunning photographs and illustrations taken from two books, ‘A Woman’s Work’ by Beta Bajgartova and ‘Rocking the System, Fearless and Amazing Irish Women who made History,” by Siobhan Parkinson in addition to films, audio recordings and a Post-it poll for visitors to continue the conversation about equality and what it means in Ireland today.

Sodexo hosted an evening reception and viewing for its fellow members of the France-Ireland Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday 10 April 2018. Country president Margot Slattery (pictured second from right) was at the event with guest speaker Mary Mitchell O’Connor TD, Minister of State for Higher Education, Mathieu Gorge, president of the France-Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Kathryn McCance, development manager, Little Museum of Dublin.

Margot Slattery said: “We’re delighted to be a sponsor of the wonderful exhibition, which celebrates Irish female pioneers who faced and overcame societal and cultural obstacles to follow their dreams of working and financial independence.  Their bravery and determination cleared the way for subsequent female generations to pursue career paths that would have been unheard of a century ago.”
