Volunteering to stop the spread

To support national efforts to recovery from the pandemic, the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS), as well as some local authorities, will be assisting the search for NHS and frontline volunteers over the coming weeks.
Sodexo is assisting the RVS and the UK Government by promoting the opportunities available. As part of this promotion, a letter will be sent to all furloughed colleagues on mainland Great Britain this week.
If you would like to volunteer, or would like to find out more about the volunteering options available, please head to the RVS website and keep an eye out in your local news for more information.
There are plenty of ways people across Sodexo can help. You could support the roll-out of the Covid-19 vaccination programme, sign up as an NHS Volunteer Responder, join a Community Testing programme, or simply supporting vulnerable people in the community.
Having a positive impact on our local communities is important to Sodexo, and we are committed to increasing our volunteering efforts.
So we can see where you’re making a difference, where possible, please use your Sodexo email address when registering for any volunteering activity and make sure to record your volunteering time within The Stop Hunger Goodness Platform. You can also find information about volunteering safely here.
Once you have registered your interest, you will be contacted to confirm your level of volunteering participation and you’ll be provided with information regarding access to early vaccination.
Please be advised that registering your interest does not guarantee a placement and it may take some weeks for you to receive a response.
