Did you know that Sodexo’s Scottish business amounts to 10% of UK & Ireland turnover? So it’s good for growth that our Scottish Government team successfully renewed their contract for another five years.

Key Facts

The relationship with The Scottish Government began 13 years ago and our contract team did a great job on the bid, which was renewed in September 2014, for a five-year term.

As well as continuing to provide catering and maintenance of catering equipment the team has added kitchen deep cleaning to its range of services.

As part of the new deal, Sodexo is revamping the food offer to focus more on grab ‘n’ go choices, reflecting high-street eating trends. The team is also introducing the Aspretto coffee brand into outlets and reinforcing its commitment to using local Scottish suppliers.

So great news for customers – and there’s great news for Sodexo staff too. In line with Scottish Government policy everyone is now being paid the Living Wage.
