Sodexo's Kirsty McAdam and Julia Brizza illuminated the streets during a 10km walk which raised £593 for The Christie Clinic in Manchester.
They took part in the Night of Neon event in Salford Quays with participants wearing a variety of high visibility costumes in aid of the specialist cancer care clinic.
“Once you do one you definitely want to do more,” said Kirsty, who works as a hostess at The Christie Clinic where, until recently, Julia (pictured far left) was her supervisor. “The atmosphere is catchy you just want to do more to help out especially if you're working here.”
Kirsty (pictured far right) serves food and drink to patients at the clinic and offers general assistance. She's often the first person a patient sees in the morning and will attend to them throughout the day.
With a keen understanding of the clinic's vital work, she's keen to do some more fundraising. “I've been looking at skydiving which is something a bit more extreme!” she confessed.
