A Sodexo team from Merton Schools has put pedal power to good use, raising money for Stop Hunger. The gang of six took part in a static cycle at Ricards Lodge High School in Wimbledon, London, taking turns on the bike in return for sponsorship.
“I’ll be the first to say that it was a lot harder then we all thought,” said contract performance analyst Peter Allen.
“Our original target was £164 which we all thought was slightly optimistic. But we’re delighted to say that we exceeded our expectation and raised over £500, which is brilliant. A big thank you to everyone who donated and sponsored us.”
Well done to all riders: Peter Allen, Barry Pratt, Eluned (Lyn) Read, Edel Brady-Jackson, Kingsley Green and Jason Deyzel.
