When he landed Craig confessed it was "the best thing ever, and an awesome experience that he would love to repeat.”

A sky-high fundraiser

A machine minder at Tillery Valley Foods in South Wales descended from the skies to raise £300 for Stop Hunger. Craig Deacon, who works in the production area, performed a daredevil skydive at Netheravon Airfield, near Salisbury on 1 July.

Arriving at the airfield at 11.30am, Craig had to wait several nerve-jangling hours before conditions were ideal to make the jump at 5.30pm. When he landed Craig confessed it was "the best thing ever, and an awesome experience that he would love to repeat.”

“He was smiling and looked really happy to have completed this amazing thing!” said Fiona Wilcock, new product development manager.

Craig was trained by former members of the Red Devils – the official parachute display team of The Parachute Regiment and the British Army.
