Halloween fun supports hospice

Something spooky was going on among Sodexo’s team at Diageo St. James Gate in Dublin over Halloween, but it was all in a good cause.

Catering business manager Oliver Donnelly decided to decorate the on-site restaurant – which is one of a full range of FM services provided by the 150-strong Sodexo team there.

Restaurant staff donned masks and collected donations for the local St Francis Hospice in Rahney. “One of my best friends passed away last year at the hospice and another is receiving care there at the moment, so it is a place I value,” said Oliver.

“Having spent so much time there over the last 18 months I’ve seen the truly exceptional work and care provided.”

The team raised 800.00 in a week. “Donations came from my local area too as I decorated my house as well,” said Oliver.

Great effort, great cause!
