The Sodexo team in Cyprus stole the show at the 2019 Pancyprian culinary competition, Gastronomia Ho.Re.Ca, one of the largest gastronomy festivals in the Mediterranean.
Endorsed by the WACS (World Association Chefs Society), and taking place every two years, Gastronomia is supported by organisations including the Cyprus Chefs’ Association (CCA) and Ministry of Tourism. The competition gives Cypriot and foreign culinary professionals the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in culinary skills and equipment.
The competition also recognises the professionals who will represent the CCA and Cyprus in various international festivals and cooking competitions.
As part of this year’s competition, 10 Sodexo chefs entered the competition in seven different categories. Under the guidance and training of Andreas Ioannou and Nicos Papanicolaou, the team won an amazing four gold and three silver medals.
