Your Lucky Number

Mel wins big with Your Lucky Number!

Time 400 days ago Comments 0 comments

Last week, on Monday 2 March, a special one-off, increased Your Lucky Number top prize of £2,020 was drawn to welcome the new year. We're pleased to announce that Mel Hart, administrator at Queen's Hospital in Romford, was awarded this special top prize!

Mel, who has worked with Sodexo for 11 years, has played the lottery since it was first introduced: "I remember that the first winner of the lottery worked at Queen's Hospital, and we haven't had a winner since! I think it's great that the lottery supports Stop Hunger, and it would be good to have more players on board. I'm going to book a holiday with the money and get away at Easter!"

Your Lucky Number is an employee lottery which supports the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation. Around half of the money raised helps to fund Stop Hunger charity partners operating in the UK. The remaining funds head to employee pockets in the form of weekly cash prizes.

Participation in the lottery costs £1 per week, with a prize draw taking place each Monday. If you are lucky enough to win a prize, you will be contacted by email to give you the good news, and you will receive the prize money directly into your bank account within a couple of days.

With a guaranteed prize fund of at least £1,550 per week, split across three prizes, there are plenty of opportunities to win. And, the more employees who participate, the bigger the prize fund - and the more money we raise for Stop Hunger.

For more information on Sodexo's employee lottery and to see how to sign up, visit the Your_Sodexo page here.

Before you decide to take part in Your Lucky Number, please ensure you and your family can afford the payments and are not putting yourself into financial difficulty by taking part.

Volunteering to stop the spread

Over the coming weeks, the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS), as well as some local authorities, will be searching for volunteers to support efforts to recover from the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. Sodexo is assisting the RVS and UK Government by promoting the opportunities available. Can you lend a helping hand?
